Tribute to Kundalini Yoga




In kundalini, it's not just the actions or the physical movements that you're doing. But it's the reason that you're doing them.   And Kundalini has this beautiful intricate story, woven into the tapestry of our lives. As to why we're showing up for ourselves in this way right now, what we've been through and what we are stepping into. 


She weaves into our movements, this consciousness that then is able to transport us out of the mundane and into the truly brilliant. Aspects of our life that we know are there for us. It's a practice that goes deep.  It makes up the energy of the nervous system and by using our intention and connecting ourselves to our energy, and to our nervous system, in a way here that is supporting us to feel better. To feel good. To feel safe. 


I don't want to use the word strength here because it's not about being strong. But there is a resiliency in the energy body that can be achieved through the practice of kundalini yoga that supports you now, as you move through your life, if you need to set the boundaries, if you need to decide what is good for you, you can depend on yourself. And then there's all the physical practices that come with the actual movements. 


And then the breathwork to break through the emotional blocks that are keeping us stuck and not accessing our highest potential, because sometime along the way, possibly when we were even 5 years old, somebody told us we weren't good enough and from that point we created our reality through that belief, and that lens stuck. Stuck in our energy body. And it no longer serves you and you can clear this, and then you can access all the wonderful things that are meant for you when you are no longer thinking that you do not deserve them, or that somehow, the world doesn't want to give them to you. 


This practice has been the foundation for my complete transformation from who I used to be, who I thought I needed to be, who I didn't want to face into this completely free, completely empowered person that I am today. And It takes time to unravel all of the thoughts and the patterns that have gotten you to a place that you find yourself in if you don't like it. And go easy. 

And show up for yourself day in and day out because staying where you are isn't working anymore and I know doing something new is hard. But I promise you with my whole heart with my open heart Chakra. That it will be worth it. 



It will be so worth it.
